Tenlong was a tender look on his face and he begin to speak,”There is nothing wrong with emotion and the expression of it. Emotion makes me stronger! You are such a great warrior that even I am even jealous of your skill! Just image the increase of ability you would have had if you fed on your emotions! You are sandbagging your abilities and it has a lot to due with your psychology conflict!” “Sandbagging, hiding the strength, skill or difficulty of something or someone early in an engagement, may refer to: Sandbagging in billiards and other games, deliberately playing below one’s actual ability in order to fool opponents into accepting higher stakes bets, or to lower one’s competitive rating in order to play in a future event with a higher handicap and consequently have a better chance to win; the term has spread to chess, go and other such games.”
“Arousal regulation refers to entering into and maintaining an optimal level of cognitive and physiological activation in order to maximize performance. This may include relaxation if one becomes too anxious through methods such as progressive muscle relaxation, breathing exercises, and meditation, or the use of energizing techniques (e.g., listening to music, energizing cues) if one is not alert enough. The use of meditation and specifically, mindfulness, is a growing practice in the field of arousal recognition. The Mindfulness-Acceptance-Commitment (MAC) Theory is the most common form of mindfulness in sport. Self-talk refers to the thoughts and words athletes and performers say to themselves, usually in their minds. Self-talk phrases (or cues) are used to direct attention towards a particular thing in order to improve focus or are used alongside other techniques to facilitate their effectiveness.”
Scarface is still grabbing the pants legs of the powerful Tenlong and will not let him go.
Tenlong tries to escape her grip but to no avail since she digs her long nails into the flesh of the conqueror’s ankles.
Eventually, Tenlong relents and stops the struggle and looks down at the female warrior. Tenlong decides to allow to her work through this conflict within herself and not interfere.
Tenlong did not want to make the matter any worse by mucking it up.
So he decides to remain silent despite being hurt by her.
Her hair is has changed to a different color of half brown/ half blonde.
This completely shocks Tenlong and he ponders,”What does this mean? Scarface has blonde hair while Calandra has brown! Wait! Her personalities must have unified as I said they would! Her ki should be stronger in theory! The ki of a dualarian is probably not at full power when in one personality. Dualarians are a new thing to me and even to Calandra. Dualarians have to be extremely rare and maybe only one exists in the land of Canthra!”
The conqueror begins to feel after the ki of the unified Scarface and her ki is enormous! It is the strongest ki that the battler had ever felt in his entire life and it scares him.
Tenlong truly loves Scarface/Calandra but she is the biggest rival that he had ever had in his entire. She is the biggest threat to the huge man that ever was.
The warrior within Tenlong begins to overcome Tenlong’s normal sensibilities.
Scarface has done nothing but shake up his position on his own abilities since they had first met.
He has discovered that he was not nearly as good as he thought he was since he met this woman!
Tenlong screams,” How can this be? I am suppose to be the strongest man in the world! I am the man that will defeat General Sanada and free this world! No one is stronger than me! No man, woman, or beast can hurt me! I am invincible! I feel no pain!”
Tenlong has begun to believe his own hype and has grown arrogant over the last couple years. “Hype is the act of publicizing or promoting, especially by extravagant, inflated, or misleading claims.” This woman has done nothing but humble the mighty conqueror.
“ARROGANCE is one of seven basic character flaws or “dark” personality traits. We all have the potential for arrogant tendencies, but in people with a strong fear of showing ordinary vulnerability, “Arrogance can become a dominant pattern. Arrogance means “bigging yourself up”—whether publicly or just inside your own mind. Often it involves knocking others down at the same time. It is generally defined as: The act or habit of making undue claims in an overbearing manner; that species of pride which consists in exorbitant claims of rank, dignity, estimation, or power, or which exalts the worth or importance of the person to an undue degree; proud contempt of others. As with the opposite chief feature of self-deprecation, arrogance is a way of manipulating others’ perceptions of yourself in order to avoid taking a “hit” to your self-esteem. In this case, however, the basic strategy is to get others to see you as special, perfect or flawless — diverting attention from your ordinary imperfections, weaknesses and failings — and thereby keeping your self-esteem artificially inflated.”
